Executive Director

Key duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the Company’s strategy and business development.
  • Ensure commitment to and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations across the Company.
  • Identifying business development opportunities and ensure stable expansion.
  • Managing the company’s business development in the industry.
  • Evaluation of future prospects and/or markets.
  • Providing a leadership support function to teams and motivating staff to achieve production goals.
  • Managing vendor relationships and maintain business relationships with clients for their retention and future prospects.
  • Responsible for setting and monitoring the criteria for evaluating third parties offering services to the Company.
  • Providing strategic recommendations to the members of the Board of Directors.
  • Manage Company’s operations, both on a day-to-day and long-term basis.
  • Responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the Company according to internal regulations and manuals of the Company as well as current laws and regulations of the industry
  • Reviewing/Identifying and improving internal processes, ensuring that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented & maintained.
  • Developing and enforcing adequate policies and procedures in order to meet the compliance requirements of regulation on a group level and other applicable rules.
  • Monitoring the adequacy and effectiveness of the measures and procedures of the Company.
  • Assisting in the execution of the Company’s business plans in accordance to its business model
  • Ensures that communication between departments is ongoing and utilized to maintain an environment of continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • University Degree in Law, Business, Economics or any other relevant field.
  • Previous experience as executive director for a CIF entity will be considered an advantage.
  • Holder of CySEC Advanced or Basic certificate Advance is a must.
  • Ability to act at pace, with control together with the ability to focus on the key risks and operational excellence across the breadth of the activities are crucial attributes of the ideal candidate.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills and ability to communicate with leadership across business teams.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, organizational, prioritization, decisionmaking, and skills.
